By Judged a winner - November 22 - 11:30 pmAfter 3000 miles I have only been impressed by by the Fusion Hybrid. I dont have a single complaint about how it performs. Its ride, handling, comfort, features and fuel economy are all top notch and they all contribute to make the car fun to drive. The Fusion does what I havent seen in cars today, it meets and exceeds EPA rated fuel economy ratings. I have averaged 40 mpg in mixed city/highway driving so far, I expected 32-35 at best. One of the best aspects is you drive the car just like a normal car, you dont have to baby the gas pedal and you dont notice the transition between the gas and electric engine.

By EnergyMoron - November 7 - 4:53 pmThis car is amazing With 2500 miles on the car I am getting 46.6 MPG since we bought the car (the long term mileage meter is 45.9 since there was some mileage already @13 MPG). My goal is 50 MPG going on I-10 and I-610 to work 20 miles each way each day and I make the goal most days. I have learned to drive the car now so that 55 MPG runs are not uncommon and best is 58.5 MPG. Performance of course depends upon driving style and there are tricks one learns. Learned a lot by talking at the mileage teams at the Shell eco- marathon (where 1000 MPG is sort of the norm). Unbelievable that a car that big (we have 3 kids) can do this

Fun to Drive - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
By Russ - September 17 - 2:56 pmIve had my 2010 Ford Fusion for about a month and it has been fun to drive. Well have to see how it perfoms over time. A few things Ive noticed so far is the large front grille is plastc chrome and easily prone to scratching. Also the package I have includes rear park assist and it has gone emitted a continous beep on several occasions when absolutely nothing was to the rear of the vehicle. Other than that the fuel economy is great and the vehicle will stay in EV mode even with the A/C on.

Amazing Vehicle - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
By Michael C. - August 31 - 7:46 amI am impressed with what Ford has designed and built. Mine also came with the 502A Nav package. My iphone worked without a flaw with the sync via the bluetooth for the phone and the usb for the songs. The car does handle and feel like a luxury car. Smooth and quiet ride with a strong positive feel. The controls are easy to use and the feature list sounds like a Lexus. It is impressive that a car with this much volume and power gets 35+ mpg in the city. I was originally going to purchase an Accord but after reviewing and testing the Fusion Hybrid I believe I made the better choice. The Honda is a good car but no comparison to the quality, feature list, and mpgs of the Fusion. Thanks FORD.

Awesome! - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

The base model has all of the bells & whistles I could want and my mileage is exceeding my expectations so far (I am averaging about 43 so far). While fuel economy is great, I dont feel like I am sacrificing performance or speed. Test drove a Prius and Camry Hybrid before buying the FFH and can honestly say the FFH is in a class of its own

By Stitches26 - August 12 - 10:00 amI bought my fusion hybrid brand new in July 2010. Must say it caught my eye right away on the lot. I really wanted to buy the new Taurus. But I took a look at the gas mileage and said next. The car is very comfortable and fun to drive. Pricing was great for a loaded car being hybrid. the only think i dont like is that the side mirrors do not fold in. it would be nice for when Im parking in the city. also needs a better turn by turn direction system. i just use my own gps.

Poor Gas Mileage - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
By enternewid - July 8 - 12:32 pmWe were getting over 40 mpg the first 4 months we owned the car, then mileage dropped to 28 mpg with no change in driving habits. Took it into Ford and they gave the song and dance that there are no error codes so they cant do any thing! So much for auto mechanics being able to figure out a problem. My guess would be a bad fuel injector or oxygen sensor being bad, but not enough to show a code. I did put in some injector cleaner even though the owner manual says not to. This actually helped and increased the mileage to about 32 mpg average. BFD I can be driving on the straight and level and the MPG gauge bounces up and down for no reason. After buying a new Mustang in 1988 and having injector problems that Ford refused to fix, I told myself I would never buy another Ford. Well I was stupid and bought one anyway.

Love My Fusion Hybrid - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
By Alan - June 15 - 2:56 pmI wanted to own a hybrid to be more green and ended up choosing the Fusion because you get so much more car and features for the money than the Prius, Insight or Lexus H250H. My previous car was a BMW 5 Series and I expected to have to give up a lot of features and comforts but the opposite turned out to be true! I love the elec. instrument cluster, BLUR, rear camera, great nav system with Sirius. But the coolest thing is cruising in all-electric mode when driving through the neighborhood and in parking lots. The 2.5L engine gives me enough power if I want it and the CVT gives you a really smooth driving experience. Fun to drive and low carbon emissions. Good job Ford!

AMAZING - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
By Heyday - May 24 - 7:33 amI have driven the car close to 1400 miles so far and i am completely happy. The driving experience is second to none, the level of luxury in this car is amazing. I feel would run out of space if i try to name every thing i am excited about, But I do have to say congratulations to Ford for an amazing car.
